WHAT A MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Plain and simple... it was a NICE one!  Vaun had his first Christmas this year and we spent it in Wall, South Dakota on the farm with his Grandma and Grandpa Patterson.  We were there for a full week and it was quite relaxing.  Things are just a little slower paced than I am used to and it reminds me everytime that I just need to slow down with my everyday life.  I LOVE IT!

Vaun made out pretty well for an 11 month old.  Not only did he get gifts from Grandma Barb and Grandpa Dale, but he also had an early Christmas with Grandma Yolanda and Grandpa Greg the week before we left for SD.  When we arrived home from South Dakota he also had some gifts to open at our house.  He seemed to like the bows and ribbons more than the actual gift itself... oh well!

I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday and got everything they wished for.  I know I did... (besides the Tiffany earings from Dain) - I have the perfect little family and that is all that matters!

Looking forward to Thanksgiving

I am sitting here enjoying our new desk that Dain just put together and decided to start a blog page.  I thought this would be a great way to keep our families and friends updated with what is going on with us.

I just finished up chopping up all the items to put in my yummy stuffing that I am making for our Thanksgiving get together at Uncle Jay and Aunt Mary's tomorrow.  It will be less that I have to do in the morning while trying to get the little one ready and also make my famous stuffing.

Dain just left to go pick up his brother Sean from the airport.  Poor Dain is not feeling too well and driving to the airport at 12AM!  I'm sure he will be fine though - he's always been full of energy since I've known him.

I will continue this blog once we have a our first Thanksgiving with our little Vaun and post some pictures too.

Here's wishing you a fabulous Turkey Day!
